Coaching
Sessions are an hour. We start by catching up on the project or whatever you’ ve been wrestling with on the page. Then we get to work: writing or editing, brainstorming, talking about structure, and reading lines out loud. We close by figuring out next steps for the week ahead. You can read what my clients have said about my coaching here.
Coaching includes email between sessions: I can give quick feedback on pitches and answer questions. I’ ll also read up to 1,000 words a week, with a $0.02-per-word reading fee for anything longer. You’ re welcome to send writing before our first session, too.

Editing
You’ ll get the draft back in Google Docs or Microsoft Word with two levels of feedback: linelevel suggestions in the margins (word choice, sentence rhythm, voice) and big-picture comments (structure, argument, pacing). I recommend a separate coaching session afterward to go through the edits together (standard coaching rate, $140). You can see some pieces I’ve edited here.

A 10,000-word manuscript: $200 initial read, then $400–$600 line edit.

Read fee due upfront; line-edit fee due on delivery. Turnaround is two to four weeks for most manuscripts, confirmed when I send the estimate.
Scheduling and Payment

Reserve your session through my Calendly link. If you can’ t find a time that works for you, email me with some suggested days and times. You will receive a Zoom and payment link after scheduling.

The four-session package is meant to run thirty days from your first session. If something gets in the way (travel, deadlines, life), email me and we’ ll work out an extension or a pause.

Things come up. You can cancel or reschedule via Calendly anytime up to 24 hours before the session. If you’ re running late, email or text me— I’ ll wait 10 minutes after the start time. If I don’ t hear from you, the session will be canceled and you’ ll be invoiced for the full hour.
